A message from James:
Hello, my name is James Filippelli and I was born and raised in British Columbia.
I have been unhappy with politics in BC every since I can remember. I have always been unsure about the motives of the people seeking power in BC. Were they really out to make BC a better place? Did they really want to listen to the people and be truthful and honest about what was happening?
I figured that the only way that I could ensure that the MLA representing me would have these values, would be if I represented myself and the rest of my riding in the Provincial Legislature. So I started a new Political Party in 2002. YOUR POLITICAL PARTY OF BC.
I ran for MLA in the riding of Port Moody - Westwood in the 2005 Provincial election and received more votes, support and encouragement than I was expecting to get.
The feedback I was recieving while knocking on doors during the run up to the election was extremely positive. The people of BC are ready for a party willing to listen to them. They would like someone with fresh ideas and a new perspective.
For the past seven years I have been working on improving the political situation in British Columbia by providing a political party with real solutions and is a viable alternative to the two major political parties.
In the upcoming provincial election on May 12th, 2009, YOUR POLITICAL PARTY OF BC will have two Candidates running, one in Port Coquitlam and one in Port Moody - Coquitlam.
I look forward to continuing to provide YOU with a viable alternative for YOUR VOTE, and to providing you with candidates that are interested in representing you, your family, your concerns and your future.
